I drink my espresso plain, but for some reason it tastes like I had put sweet and low in it.

I prefer my coffee drinks very strong and nothing artifical added to it, including creamers or milk. The Gevalia Espresso (dark) is a very rich, bold drink. It has a very good after taste as well. I like to drink this either alone, or I add it to my regular extra bold coffee in the morning.
I highly recommend this product.

Very rich and delicious! I add ice, milk, and syrup for iced lattes, and I use the latte creamer discs with it for hot lattes... Much cheaper than buying the drink at a coffee shop!

For an instant disc/pod espresso, the Gevalia espresso for Tassimo is very good. It is the best of the espressos offered for the Tassimo line.

I recently discovered a trick for making it even more delicious. For an extra rich and full-bodied espresso, combine 2 t-discs into one cup, with each one's brew shortened halfway to increase the strength. On the original Tassimo machine, this is accomplished by pressing the button and releasing it after the drip has been going for just a few seconds. For many people, a regular brew of a single t-disc might be fine, but it was tasting a bit weak for me (maybe I've been spoiled by too many Peets espressos, which really pack a punch).

Yes, it does use up the t-discs more quickly, but a 2-disc cup of espresso costs only about $1.10 - which is still far cheaper than a double espresso at Starbucks ($1.95) or Peets ($2.20).
